Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Energy Partners Ireland processes your data when you use our service.
When we talk about 'personal data' and 'personal information', we signify any form of information about an identified or identifiable physical person. Personal data includes details like contact information, search, and purchase history.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions about how we process your information.
Who are we?
Energy Partners Ireland is a company that manages and distributes leads to renewable energy providers across Ireland.
The contact email for privacy matters regarding users and interested parties is privacy@energypartners.ie.
Energy Partners Ireland follows the rules on data protection through the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Below is a more thorough review of the various categories of personal data processed by Energy Partners Ireland, where this data comes from, and the purpose of processing your data.
What personal data do we process at Energy Partners Ireland?
The personal information you provide is the minimum required for the solar energy suppliers to be able to give you relevant and concrete offers based on your needs. We will not use it for anything other than delivering these offers to you and the administrative work related to it.
The purpose of processing your personal data is to deliver the service as intended, which means that the user receives one or more offers from independent third parties.
By using the service, you consent to the relevant solar energy companies contacting you via email, telephone, or SMS with offers relevant to your enquiry.
The legal basis
The legal basis for Energy Partners Ireland’s processing of your data follows from the General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6, subsection 1.
We must process your data to deliver relevant and personalised offers. We thus have a legitimate interest in this regard, as it remains essential for us to process personal information to deliver offers to the user, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1.
Categories of personal data
Energy Partners Ireland processes name and contact information such as your address, email, and telephone number.
Forwarding of personal data
To deliver the service as desired, Energy Partners Ireland forwards or entrusts your personal data to independent third parties, who will provide you with offers. Once you have filled out the form, we will let you know which actors received this information.
You will not receive anything other than offers from solar energy suppliers via Energy Partners Ireland. You will usually receive an offer via email, SMS, or telephone within 30 days. You can have your request removed or deleted by emailing us at privacy@energypartnerireland.com
Our partners have agreed not to use your personal data for anything other than the above purpose. They will, therefore, not be able to send you newsletters or the like without your specific approval. Energy Partners Ireland will never ask for such permissions on behalf of third parties.
Like most people, we hate spam. That is why we only send you one email when you use our service—a message confirming that the form submission was successful.
That email includes a list of the relevant solar suppliers competing to give you the best offer based on your location and preferences. It may also contain some tips on what you should prepare before they contact you.
You do not need to take action to avoid receiving more emails from us. Please do not mark the email as spam because that will make it difficult for us to send confirmation emails that reach customers like yourself.
We would like to hear from you if you have any feedback on the service. Feel free to reply to our confirmation email if you want to tell us something.
Gmail and Outlook users may also notice advertisements for our service in their mail inbox. These are not emails, and we have not sent them explicitly to you. Instead, you are seeing adverts that Google and Microsoft use to fund their free email service, similar to how they use ads to fund their search engines Google and Bing.
Storage of your personal data
Energy Partners Ireland stores your personal data as long as it is relevant, within a maximum period of five years.
We keep your personal information as long as it's relevant for obtaining offers, including documentation to independent third parties regarding leads. Typically, we will delete the data within six months.
